The second edition of the “GETshow Cup” China Sound Engineer Competition is now open for entries. Co-organized by the China Stage Art Society and the Guangdong Entertainment Equipment Industry Chamber, the event targets professional sound designers, live mixing engineers, and system engineers.
Awards include Best Sound Engineer, Young Sound Engineer Rising Star, and Best Sound System Engineer. Winners will be honored during GETshow 2026 in Guangzhou. The competition reinforces the importance of sound-light integration in live events, cultural tourism projects, and immersive theater productions.
Registration runs until January 31, 2026.
